Capitol Royale Hackathon ACTION ITEMS

Hi Team,

A more detailed arrival pack and ROS will follow but in the meantime, a few next steps that need your attention:

A number of you have signed up on Devpost, but have not yet completed an application. If you haven't already, please fill out an application form. NOTE: OUR FINAL GUESTLIST / SECURITY LIST WILL BE BASED ON THIS.
Grab a Ticket for free entry into Capitol Royale if you’d like to checkout other parts of the conference + festival programming throughout the weekend. Be sure to grab the free “Hacker” ticket.
Checkout our Website and Gitbook Guide for the latest updates on API instructions, challenges, event flow details, etc.

Key dates and times to keep in mind:

Nov 15th at 10am-6pm: Bose, Cloudinary, and Dolby will be kicking programming off early ahead of the formal weekend via extra workshop sessions, mentor hours, and open hacking time. Please let us know if you’re able / interesting in participating!
Nov 15th at 7pm: We’ll be hosting a Kick-Off showcase at the Avalon, featuring a number of Capitol Artists and DJs. Your “Hacker” ticket gets you free access to this so please join us!
Nov 16th at 9:30am: Registrations will open, and API presentations will begin promptly at 10am. Check-in will take place at the Coast lot of Capitol Records. You’ll then be directed to Capitol Studios for API presentations. After we break for lunch, we’ll regroup at the Kimpton Hotel, Beachwood Ballroom ~1:30pm. Lunch will be available at the Kimpton starting at 12:30 so feel free to head over early.
Nov 17th at 1pm: Presentations due, must be submitted to Devpost. ***In addition to Devpost, you must also submit any supplementary presentation materials (e.g. powerpoint decks, demos, videos) by emailing Anna Skelsey – anna.skelsey@umusic.com and Zee Ibrahim – zee@umusic.com. Please consolidate to the best of your abilities. Google Slides preferred***
Nov 17th at 2:30pm: Final Pitches (inside Capitol Studios), followed by the Award Ceremony
